The Swiss is a coated guinea pig. With hair of around 6cm all over the body. The coat is soft & plush and yet firm. The coat stands upright giving the 'fluffy' appearance. The hair must be thick and regular.

You're piggies are soooo cute. They're like powder puffs. Kiwi has very interesting markings, really cool!

Is there such a thing as Satin Swiss?? Also are swiss in the US yet?? I actually like them better than the US Teddies. Julie

Yes there are Satin Swiss I have actually got two Sasha and Sammy are both Satin Swiss. Not sure if they are in the US yet they have not long been in the UK my friend was the first person to have them as far as I know. They have been here since 2004.
