Waffle Block Fun

The things you can do with waffle blocks are massive. Besides the typical rectangle shape, they can be shaped into squares, connected into mazes, or rearranged so they form nice exploration paths. Needless to say the pigs love 'm!

Enjoy the new video I made. I compiled several video's into one, but it's stil 6.5 minutes of video in total. Switch on the speakers, as the sounds and music are a must, lol!

Waffle Block Fun

The cabinet on the right is even a fire exit escape "pod", as the pigs can be chased in there, sealed off moving 4 clips and close the entrance, close the lid and roll the cabinet out the door: all done in 2 minutes in case of an emergency! It contains the most important items, like pellets, hay and meds, as a survival kit.

Jet Setter Pigs

As there are no c&c ...

Bathing Your Piggy.

When bathing your piggy in a bath tub always check the water temperature to avoid any burns. Try to be as patient as you can be, because they will run around the tub making it imposible for you to shampoo them. When bathing your piggy in a sink be extremely careful because he/she will try to jump and if the piggy falls it can be fatal. I would recommend to bath your piggy with animal shampoo, because human shampoo can cause irritation in their skin and can dry out their natural skin's oil, even ...

Last week, on Monday, my guinea, Dudley, died. I don't know why, he was fine till about 9-10ish the night before, when i noticed he wasn't as hyper, so i figured i'd check him up the next day, to decide wether or not i needed to take him to the vet. Well, when i woke up, to look at him, he was just lying there... My sister cryed harder than me and my mom...

Bye my baby <3 :'(

These are my kids. I hope you like them. The black one is Zippy, aka ZipZip, my boar. He's 4. The white one is Harlequin, aka Harley and Little Girl and LG. She had two mammory tumors removed in December, and was shaved from her shoulders to her butt. Her hair is growing back slowly. Meanwhile, she looks like a lion with a mane, so I call her my lion piggy. The brown one is Fudgy Momma, aka Fudgy and Momma.

LG is wet after a bath, in the first pic, and under her hay ...

Sprocket lost the battle

I have a friend in Michigan who had 10 piggies. She got her first piggy after her son died, and the therapist suggested getting a pet for her and her other son, to help get them through the bad period. She and her son got King George, piggy number one. Then she went on-line to a cavy forum and met people who told her to get that piggy a friend, so she went to a rescue and found Sprocket. KG became her son's piggy, and Sprocket became her piggy.

Sprocket has been so badly abused, he was isolated ...

Hello members! it's time to get back on track on the forum's fun. There's a new photo contest activity in which we'll have to create it ourselves. The hat contest consists in creating hats for your piggies and put colors and funny graphics to the hat to give life to it. The hats can be created out of plastic cups or foam cups ( I prefer the foam ones to avoid any injuries or discomfort) paper, cardboard and such on. I will be creating my hat(s) today and as soon as I am done I will post my pictures. ...

Animal Cruelty laws

I found this website with a definition of animal cruelty and information on some of the ways different states do or don't deal with it. Since a lot of people report finding sick pigs in pet stores, or pigs that need medical care, too many pigs in too small a cage or tank and cages with no hay or fresh veggies, I thought this definition would help people determine if an animal really is being abused, or if it's just not being treated as well as we think it should be treated.
Mom came in this morning, the way she does every morning, turning on the sun if it's gloomy, or just giving us a happy greeting and a nice veggie treat. She cleaned out all the poos we were saving for later, we don't know why she does this, and all the hay that fell off the hayloft. She changed all the towels in our hidies, so they were nice and fresh, and we could get them all dirty. She filled up our food dish and checked to make sure we had plenty of water. Then she said she was going to take ...

Pulguita was my loud girl who everyday wheek and wheek when she used to see me. She was a funny loud girl, although she was very crumpy she loved to be petted and specially during food time. Unfortunately, I was unemployed and applied for several jobs and never got any answer back, but I was so happy because all my piggies were healthy, happy and playful.
Tomorrow morning we are going to Pittsburgh Pa our hometown to see a house we saw for rent. Beautiful remodeled home a semi victorian home.

We moved to Weirton West Virginia a year ago. I had alot of family problems with my family, stress was taking toll of my marriage, things like that, so we moved to Weirton to get away from all of that. It helped us get back on our feets. Before my sister was due for surgery a year ago this month, I realized how much I truly miss Pittsburgh Pa, my hometown, ...

I've been making cavy comics for 4 years now. I have enough at home to fill 10 years of them, lol. It all started as fun, but people loved them so much, so I kept making them. The Dutch forum even asked for a translated version of them.

Every year, I redraw each comic, as the ones that are posted are just drafts, to publish them. This year that will be delayed, as I'm currently without internet till I move.

Here's the link to the comics from the start.
